To guarantee the continuous work for special equipment like horizontal drilling rigs, microtunneling systems, and slurry wall millings, contractors have to look for work all over the world. Wide ranging ground conditions mean there is a need for a highly flexible separation plant. For this reason, Derrick has developed the “Platform Strategy for Separation Systems”.

The basis of the new separation system is the 20-foot base tank with integrated centrifugal pumps for feeding the hydrocyclones. The base tank also accommodates the complete control system for the separation plant. Up to three Derrick separation platforms can be mounted on this base tank.
